Why is it that American servicemen have to fight for everything from the VA, but illegal immigrants can get benefits that should be only for citizens?

I have been searching for my husbands TDY records for over 2 years and nobody seems to know anything about TDY records. They keep telling me the AF destroyed many records in the name of security.

OMG!Hope it doesn't take me that long. Did you submit the CHECO report with your claim. If not, might help your case. It's on DoD website. 188 pages of unclassified. More pages are being unclassified daily.
