How about those of us who are called: Downwinders due to the above ground tests in Nevada during the 1950s? To include those tests which DOD refuses to acknowledge because of wind d rift or classified activities. I would love to chat! I was exposed to fallout from a wind drift.Reply To 14574

As the brat of an 498th support battalion fwd
Sherri d/o Everett Ward
I was 4 when we headed off to Kasserne, Graf, and Frankfurt, Germany if you knew Ev Ward {*ugg* so I'm told} I'm seeking pictures, memories, stories, people who remember my Dad. He was 498th spt Bn 2 s AD. He was also 66th transport, and 1Bn 67 rm 2AD @ ft. Hood. We were also stationed in ft. Campbell, ky. I remember the Lee family {George Lee, my brother's best rememberedfriend}, "Grandma" Noi, she was so loving and beautiful, "Aunt" Karen & "Uncle" Carl Rodgers and their 3 kids Tracy, Stacy, and Casey Aunt Karen taught me to dance, I remember Sherry Wiedermeyer<<< spelled it wrong, and Penny & Kelly Sanford, too. We had an amazing second family. The experiences were irreplaceable. Even if the pictures are all gone!
I served in 2/26 in nam in 67. My name is Philip Ayers. Did we know each other?
