Looking for anyone who knew my Uncle Donald Lee Guthrie who died 6-9-1954 on a base in Alaska. I’ve always thought his branch was Air Force but looking on the internet it doesn’t look like the AF as officially named until after his death. I need to know how he died, what happens. Everyone is dead, his siblings died young and I’m trying to solve the mystery of his death, as my grandparents were never told what happened to him. He died on the base. Good, bad or ugly, I’d like to know. It’s time to be able to put it down in our family records. A search of military records in the archives comes up with nothing. They say his records could have burnt in the fire. I’m not able to get a death certificate either until I have his military information. I’d appreciate anything anyone knows.

Pesticide use in So Korea

Am looking for anyone who might have been exposed to pesticide spray while stationed at Osan AB during 1962 to 1963. Even at another base during that time. If anyone knows what type of pesticide was used.
