I am his son I went high school and Jr high in Stuttgart. I looking for also any black soldiers that served during that time alot of those guys mentored. Heavy wght Boxer Floyd patterson came their . Does any body remember when the barracks there was taken over a day because of civil right. my best time were at that Kaserne and High school

I would like to find out more about my dad Ricky Lamar Wooton Sr. Served Dec. 6 1966 until Dec. 5 1972. I just came across his discharge papers and I believe he served with HHB 3D BN 43D ARTY. I guess that's right that's what is says. I didn't get to really know him when I was young and by the time I grew up and was trying to get a relationship started with him he passed in 1998.
