Were You Stationed In Korea?
Bruce Richards
If you were stationed in Korea, these Maps, with clickable links to 100s of Photos of the Camps and Villages. If this works as a direct link, click on it. If not, copy and past to your browser. There are 3 separate maps. http://brucerichards.com/army/click%20map.htm
My mom had a house she rented rooms to soldiers and their families behind the Camp Indian wall. It was located in Ouijongbu City. My father William Glen Atwell was stationed there in 1959-1960. If anyone has pictures of the camp and its surrounding areas I would love to see them. The link above only showed two maps. Reply To 13273

Milton Lee Echols R.I.P.
Howard Taylor
I previously posted a notice that I had become aware of the death of PFC Milton Lee Echols, 1/79th FA C Btry, Ft. Ord CA, 1976-77. He died on Jan 6, 1985 4 days before his 27th birthday. He lived in Jackson MS and left a son behind. I just found out some of the details of what happened to him. Long story short an upset lady friend got in her car and as she drove away Milton tried to stop her. It is unclear how this happened but he was pinned between her moving car and a parked car just up the street a bit. He died at the scene. A very tragic end to a wonderful soul. Seeing him again was something I was looking forward to so this is an extremely disappointing end to one of the items on my bucket list.
