Broken Hearted Daughter Wanting Info about my Hero

My name is Christa Flanagan, last time i saw my dad was 1986. I am 40 now, i have never married incase he was looking for me also. Well, i found out my dad passed on my birtjdsy of this year! My birthday is in Jjune and we didnt find out until Sept. I am just curious what rank he held in the Army and the AirForce. I have been reading about all the medals and badges he was awarded during his services to our country. I know i have to be just like him, because im like noone else in the family, and i cam just feel it. I want to see pictures and hear stories and what not. I feel like my last name means nothing simce hes gone and my purpose in life is no longer.... Im vary sad about not getting to find him amd spend time with him! Im heartbroken because, rumor has it, his wife kept him from me. She also kept his passing from me. I didnt even get to go to his funeral, he never got to meet my kids. Theyve heard me talk about him all their lives!! Does anyone have any stories or rank info or photos theyd like to share with me ?? Im beghing. Hes my hero
