Irish Pennant:
Any string or thread hangin from cloth such as clothing, bedding, flags, pennants, etc

Brig Rat:
Any member of the Armed Forces who is in the brig.

Shit Bird:
Any member of the Armed Forces that doesn't meet standards or is generally concieved as a screw off.
|
|||
KMA:
Keep Me Advised, but any resourceful radio operator knew it meant, Kiss My Ass.

Royal Baby:
Onboard ship, when crossing the equator, a person usually with a large belly, dressed as a baby with a greased gut, who all the Polly Wogs had to kiss his belly.

King Neptune:
The senior Shellback onboard. The person with the earliest initiation date for crossing the equator.
|
|||
Jury Rig:
To perform an unapproved repair on equipment, or to piece together equipment in order to make it work.
|
|||
Midnight Requisition:
Stealing equipment from others in any service.
|
|||
Joe Shit the Rag Man:
Person of unknow identity in the Navy, as in, I don't know you from Joe Shit The Rag Man.

Operation Golden Flow:
The donation of urine samples for drug screening in all services.
|
|||
Bollardhead:
A hard headed or extremely thick headed person in the Navy.
|
|||
Galloping Ghost of the Arabian Coast:
The flagship of Commander Middle East Forces, painted white to reflect the not sun.
|
|||
Polly Wog:
Personnel who had not crossed the equator and been properly initiated in the world of Shellbacks.
|
|||
Shitter:
The toilet, bathroom, or head.
|
|||
Pineapple:
People of Phillipino decent.
