A shower taken onboard ship to conserve water: Turn on quickly and wet down, turn off and soap down, turn on just long enough to rinse.

A shower taken onboard a Navy ship where the water was left continously running during the shower...A big no no.

Water King:
Navy Petty Officer who was charged with the maintenance of the evaporators onboard ship. Water was a valuable substance.

Garrison cap worn by Navy Chiefs and Officers in Khaki uniform.

Dixie Cup:
Navy enlisted white hat, or commonly called the sailor hat.
