Officers




In the Rear with the Gear:
Someone who gets to stay away from the front lines or out of the field.




Same same water buffalo:
Everyting the same




Ricky Boxing:
When a recruit no longer keeps his hands to himself.




Snipe:
Used by Sailors as slang for an engineer type such as an Engineman or anyone working in "the hole".




Black shoe:
Aboard an aircraft carrier, the regular Navy, who served mostly below decks.




Lifer:
Anyone who has re-enlisted in the Military
