Army Dress Uniform (Another name for ODs).




ODs:
Oliver Drabs (Army Dress Uniform).




CQ:
The "Charge of Quarters" (NCO in charge under the OD).




OD:
Officer of the Day - in charge.




The "Family Jewel":
Brass strainer in Army urinal thought to be polished by "boots".




"Short-arm Inspection" :
Medics' surprise middle of the night exam of troops for VD symptoms.
