Hope to Shit in your Flat Hat:
Navy term used to express emotion about something they really believed to be true.

Term used in the Navy to describe the insignia used on a Boiler Tender or Boiler Technician's rating badage.

Khaki's:
Term used in the Navy by E-6 and below to designate Chiefs and Officers.

Short Arm Inspection:
Used in the Navy to describe a check for VD.

|||
Paper Pusher:
Navy personnel in the administrative ratings.

|||
Waterline:
The place where a ship sits in the water. Often what boots on a ship were sent to retrieve.

|||
Blue Nose:
Navy personnel who had navigated into the Artic Circle.
