Hot racking :
Reference to sailors using the same beds on ships with fewer racks than sailors. One goes on shift and one comes off shift and uses the same rack.

Combat gear worn by todays troops.

White rubber boots originally worn by bomber crews flying at high altitudes and later issued to Air Force security troops in cold weather climates.
